Heather M. Bonnet-Hébert’s
Attorney Bonnet-Hébert graduated from Rhodes College in 1996 with a B.A. in English with an emphasis in Fiction and Poetry Writing. In 2004, she received her J.D., cum laude from Vermont Law School where she was elected Editor-in-Chief of the Vermont Law Review; served as an invited member of the VLS Moot Court Advisory Board; and was selected as a Dean’s Fellow where she taught legal research and writing to incoming 1L students.
Ms. Bonnet-Hébert is a member in good standing in both the state and federal courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She is currently a member of the following law-related organizations and committees:
American Bar Association
Rhode Island Bar Association
American Association for Justice
Rhode Island Association for Justice
Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys
Massachusetts Gay and Lesbian Bar Association
Rhode Island Lawyers for Equality and Diversity
Outside of the legal field, Attorney Bonnet-Hébert will begin
serving a term on the Board of Directors of the March of Dimes –
Southeastern Massachusetts Division beginning in September 2011.
She is also active with the Dartmouth Rotary Club, the Dartmouth
Grange, the Coalition for Buzzards Bay and the Vermont Law
School Alumni Association. She is a past co-chairperson of
SouthCoast Equality, a project of the Community Foundation of
Southeast Massachusetts
